Combustion technician

Job description

The combustion technician is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing combustion and heating systems according to customer specifications. He ensures that these systems operate efficiently and in compliance with environmental safety standards. The technician must be able to inspect, detect problems and find solutions for the repair of combustion systems.

1 Installation and commissioning :

Install combustion equipment (boilers, burners, biomass boilers, etc.) according to manufacturer specifications and current standards.
Commission systems and ensure their proper operation.

2. preventive and corrective maintenance :

Carry out regular inspections of combustion systems to identify any malfunctions.
Carry out repairs to ensure the efficiency and safety of installations.
Replace defective parts and make adjustments to optimize performance.

3. analysis and optimization :

Analyze combustion system performance using specific measuring instruments (thermometers, pressure gauges, combustion analyzers, etc.).
Propose solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

4 Compliance and regulations :

Ensure that all installations comply with local, national and environmental regulations on safety and pollution.
Keep technical documentation and intervention reports up to date.

5. consulting and training :

Advise customers on the optimal use of their combustion systems.

Qualifications required:

Diploma in energy technology, industrial plumbing, mechanics, electromechanics or related field is an asset.
